How to get to Gordons Bay

Gordons Bay is accessible through the Clovelly Road and can be reached by either bus or car. Parking is available at Clovelly Road, from where it’s just a short walk along the Cliffbrook Parade to the beach. However, instead of walking all the way to the beach, best access for snorkelling is closer by, a two minute walk from the car park.

You’ll see a walking path veering off to the left of the walk to the beach, just after the parking lot. For those using public transportation, the bus service 339 from Central Station will drop you a few minutes walk from the bay. For more adventurous travellers, the bay is also part of the scenic coastal walk from Bondi to Coogee.

There are no restaurants or shops directly at the bay, so visitors are advised to bring along food and water. However, nearby Clovelly and Coogee have numerous cafes and restaurants for a post-snorkel meal.
